Document exactly who they threaten to contact
Save screenshots showing names, follower lists or messages where the offender identifies specific family members, friends, coworkers or contacts.
Separate demonstrated access from vague statements such as 'I will send this to everyone.'
Reduce public contact visibility
Review friend and follower visibility, tags, public comments, employment details and searchable phone or email information.
Blocking can limit access on some platforms, but preserve useful evidence first when safe.
Prepare rather than panic
You may decide to tell one trusted person what is happening so you are not managing the situation alone. Keep the explanation factual and avoid unnecessary redistribution of intimate content.
